If you receive this error, as when installing the upgrade copy of Vista Home Premium as a small window on a bad installation file copy may have upgraded the hard drive. I doubt the problem is the processor. When sound and picture are not synchronized, the problem may be in the video RAM (not the system RAM), sound card, or the application that you use to play. The first thing is to check the codecs for software update. The second thing is to check that your sound card has the latest drivers. Finally, make sure you have enough video memory.
